Lavisteam soft gel capsule is composed of four major components Camphor, Eucalyptol, Chlorothymol, Menthol, and Terpineol. It is used to treat inflammatory conditions and provides instant relief from congestion, cough, sore throat, etc.

Camphor: It is an organic compound (terpene) and is extracted from camphor trees. It is processed by steam distillation and is beneficial to treat irritation, pain, and itching. In addition, Camphor also provides instant relief from inflammatory conditions and chest congestion. Moreover, Camphor vapor rub is most effective in relieving congestion, night cough, and sleep difficulty in children with infections in the upper respiratory tract.

Chlorothymol: It is used to treat sore throat, colic, bronchitis, whooping cough, arthritis, stomach pain (gastritis), upset stomach, intestinal gas (flatulence), diarrhea, bedwetting, a movement disorder in children (dyspraxia), parasitic worm infections, and skin disorders. Terpineol: It is a kind of isomeric alcohol that is extracted from many essential oils. Inhaling the Terpineol can decrease the thick secretions that occur due to bronchial diseases.
